An Open Letter To DPWH

We recently visited an Aeta Community in Rapuli, Santa Ana, Cagayan for the second leg of #TogetherWeShare, an initiative to help the Aeta children especially in far flung areas. Together We Share was coined to enrich the young minds -- heightening their interest to reading and to trigger their artistic sides.
However, on December 2nd, we had a hard time passing through the Dumasag River. According to the locals, they had been experiencing non-stop rains for the past few days, making the river unpassable. When heavy rains continue to hit the area, the river overflows and the Aeta Community, having at least 27 families, will be stranded.
As we celebrate the International #VolunteersDay today, we would like to request your office to check options on how we can help this Aeta Community. Can we install a hanging bridge here or to at least include Rupali on your #BuildBuildBuild project? The #TogetherWeShare team will be more than willing to start a campaign, funding the installation of a hanging bridge if necessary.
We are looking forward for your immediate response to this matter. Thank you very much!
